Hall of Fame

The ACCC recognizes the accomplishments of the Chinese Crested every year at our Annual Awards Banquet.

To be honored with the Dam of Merit award, the bitch must have produced a minimum of five (5) progeny that have become AKC champions.

To be honored with the Sire of Merit award, the dog must have produced a minimum of six (6) progeny that have become AKC champions.

To be honored with the Dam of Distinction award, the bitch must have produced a minimum of twelve (12) progeny that have become AKC champions.

To be honored with the Sire of Distinction award, the dog must have produced a minimum of sixteen (16) progeny that have become AKC champions.

To be honored with the OTCH award, the dog must have won a total of 100 points. Obedience Trial Championship points will be recorded for dogs that have earned the Utility Dog title. These points will be recorded for those dogs that have earned a first, second, third or fourth place ribbon competing in the Open B or Utility B Class, according to the schedule of points established by the AKC Board of Directors.

The versatility award was created to recognize the dedication of our Chinese Cresteds and their owners in the many disciplines of the sport of dogs. This award recognizes the Chinese Cresteds who have trained and accomplished placements in an unusually wide array of conformation and performance competitions. The award recognizes the dog's temperament and structure, and the handler's drive and experience to train the dog to work as a team. They clearly demonstrate the talent and adaptability of the Chinese Crested Breed.

This award is for a person or couple who are members in good standing of the ACCC. The person/couple must exhibit outstanding contributions to the Chinese Crested breed and the ACCC. Person's names are to be submitted to the Recording Secretary by the ACCC membership with the board having final approval of the applicants. Only one award is to be given per calendar year and will be awarded at the ACCC specialty.

This award is for a person or couple who are members in good standing of the ACCC. The person/couple has exhibited outstanding Good Sportsmanship within the ACCC and the dog fancy community. Person's names are to be submitted to the Recording Secretary by the ACCC membership with the board having final approval of the applicants. Only one award is to be given per calendar year and will be awarded at the ACCC specialty.

This award is for the person/couple/organization who are NOT members of the ACCC. The person/couple/organization have shown by their actions that they are an outstanding supporter of the ACCC. Person/couple/organization names are to be submitted to the Recording Secretary by the ACCC membership with the board having final approval of the applicants. Only one award is to be given per calendar year and will be awarded at the ACCC specialty.
